Why A Copywriting Service May Save Your Business
If you want to make any money on the net, you need a web page.
On that web page you need words that are going to get the surfer to take action, be it order your product, click on your affiliate link or sign up to your newsletter.
So far, so simple. But what is the one thing that differentiates a successful page from a page which just makes the surfer click away as quickly as possible.
It's the copy.
The words on the page are what persuades your reader to take the action that you want them to.
So...does that make you realise how important copy is?
Good - because 90% of people in the "make money online" arena don't. Or at least they try to ignore doing it (writing great copy isn't an easy task) or they think they don't need it.
Both of these approaches are stunting their business growth. One sales page with great copy that converts surfers to buyers will make a ton more money that a hundred pages with AdSense code - if they get the same amount of traffic.
So why do people ignore copywriting?
In my view because it takes effort and discipline to get really good at it.
The majority of people want to make money now and they want to make money fast. In fact, all they want to do is push a button and hope.
This isn't great business sense. It takes time to get traffic to a web page - but even if you struggle with that side of internet marketing, great copy can be hugely effective even with a small amount of traffic.
So my advice to you is either pay a professional to do the copy for you or learn the basics for yourself and then continue to learn. Becoming a great copywriter is an ongoing process.
In short, your headline must capture the prospect. The letter should then lead into the problem your visitor is facing. Here is where you can start to reveal your own story - make it interesting and relatable for the reader.
Move into how you found the solution, introduce the solution, list benefits and then ask for the sale.
That is a very brief rundown of a sales letter. As you can see there's really nothing too complicated to it, you just need to take the time to give it a go.
Here's a top tip - look out for great sales letters from the masters. We're talking about John Carlton, Gary Halbert, Michel Fortin and Harlan Kilstein. Save their letters to your PC and then copy them out by hand.
Very important: this has to be done by hand, not tapped out on your keyboard. For some reason this is a much more effective way for you to absorb the information into your very DNA! You'll become a vastly improved copywriter just by doing this.
